We use Listmonk (self-hosted email marketing) to manage subscriptions and send emails. Listmonk may also record engagement such as opens and clicks so we can understand what is useful and improve the letter.

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site:

• Plausible (self-hosted) — cookieless website analytics without personal advertising profiles.
• Umami (hosted) — similar privacy-oriented website analytics.

These tools are intended to work without identifying you personally and without building advertising profiles.

Future advertising / monetization
